June 1, 2012 - In the belief that an educated workforce is key to the success of the Canadian wood products manufacturing industry, the Canadian Woodworking Machinery Distributors Association has provided scholarship funds since the mid-90’s to schools across Canada.  Up until this year, the University of British Columbia’s Centre for Advanced Wood Processing, Conestoga College’s Woodworking Centre of Ontario and Victoriaville’s École Nationale du Meuble et de l’Ébinisterie have all received annual cash gifts for students in their industrial woodworking programs.  In 2012, two new schools have been added, with the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology’s millwork and carpentry program and the Woodworking Centre of Excellence in Campbellton, New Brunswick.

This ongoing commitment to the industry we serve is only part of the value the Canadian Woodworking Machinery Distributors Association brings to the industry.  We also provide expert sales, installation and service for the best wood processing machinery the world has to offer.
